Join the YMCA, Mr. Love No Ego, Keep Going Together & Nature Wellness Programs for a moment in nature, a peace-walk downtown, followed by a panel discussion with The YMCA, Linda Capacchione, Mayor Juandiego Wade, Mr. Love...No Ego, Freddy Jackson, Bonita Patton, Keep Going Together, and Grassroot Collective.
Starting at 9AM, we’ll gather at the YMCA to relax, and connect. At 9:30AM we will begin by taking a few mindful minutes being in nature to set peaceful intentions. Take a Peace Walk, along the scenic 1.7-mile route to the Live Arts Theater on 2nd Street. At a comfortable pace along nature trails, enjoy springtime blossoming among the like-hearted with friendly and refreshing conversations from McIntire Park through Schenk Greenway into downtown’s charming Charlottesville neighborhoods.
